Presidential Election 2019 – Matters Arising

Credit: Blueprint.ng

Presidential, Senate and House of Representatives election has come and gone. Nigerians indeed have decided. Yes, some decided by not going to vote, the majority who voted decide by voting either PDP or APC while other decided by rigging the election, to make sure they win, because to them, winning is a do or die affair.

In Nigeria, we are good with analyzing the effects of governance, criticizing and complaining about the problem of recycling leaders that do the same old things again and again without any positive impact, but we fail over and over again to stand by the truth whenever it is our opportunity to decide who will govern us. We are so addicted to popularity, strong political structure, reigning parties, etc that we fail to look at things the other way round to see the outcome.

Kingsley Muoghalu was right when during the presidential debate, he said that the two popular parties believe that they already have Nigerians in their cage and there is no escape. Judging by the votes cast by Nigerians, it is obvious that we are so obsessed about recycled leaders and popular parties.

The fact that APC and PDP are the stronger parties doesn’t mean that our votes must go to them; they will not flog or kill us if we try somewhere else because there is freedom of choice. The majority didn’t want to vote for other parties other than APC or PDP simply because the other parties do not have a strong political structure and are not popular; therefore, they should not waste their votes on them. They already believe that those parties will lose with the lesser votes they will get. What we don’t seem to reason out is; if we that are thinking that way decide to think and act positively, we will become the majority that will give other parties a winning vote and make them popular.

We have decided, and our choice parties have rigged the election. Here we are, at the beginning of another four years of managing our long recycled leaders, if there is something I am happy about, it is because I proved that I am not in the cage of either APC or PDP, even though my choice candidate lost, at least I have shown that I can exercise my will freely. APC and PDP do not own me and they do not own Nigeria. A soldier must go and another soldier must come.

Even from the result of our votes as listed below, the final results recognized only APC and PDP. We still have a long way to go.

Congratulations Nigeria! Long Live Nigeria! God Save Nigeria!

2019 Elections: Peter Obi emerge Atiku’s Running Mate

Ideal Olive gathered at punchng.com of October 13 2018 that a former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi was chosen as the running mate to Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate for the 2019 election, on Friday in Abuja.

The choice of Peter came after due considerations and series of consultations by stakeholders in the party and outside it. PDP had earlier considered five persons before Peter Obi was said to have been finally picked. Visit http://idealolive.blogspot.com/2018/10/atiku-woes-ekweremadu-soludo-adesina.html for the five persons on Atiku’s consideration list.

According to punch.ng, investigation by one of their correspondents showed that Atiku and the leadership of the party discussed the issue at a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Thursday.

Peter Obi’s nomination has been confirmed by a statement issued by the Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization, Chief Gbenga Daniel, in Abuja on Friday night.

Here is a part of that statement: “The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has chosen a former Chairman of Fidelity Bank PLC and former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, as his running mate for the 2019 presidential election.

Apart from his vast knowledge of global and local economics, as well as being a financial expert, the choice of Peter Obi was largely influenced by his youthfulness.

It is hoped that with Peter Obi as a running mate to Atiku, PDP stands a better chance of winning the presidential elections if it turns out to be free and fair.

Elections have not taken place but winners have already been predicted. We hope that this is just a prediction and does not mean that all machinery have been put in place to rig the election and come up with the predicted results.

Adams Oshiomhole while commenting on the rerun election held in Osun which his party won had said: “I think that for democracy
to flourish, only people who can accept the pain of rigging, sorry, defeat should participate in an election”. We hope that this prediction is not in line with Oshiomole’s statement. If it is, that means election has already taken place and what we are waiting for is the ceremonial voting.

PDP, APC IN A CORRUPTION CONTEST

Peoples Democratic Party while reacting to a claim by President Muhammadu Buhari that PDP squandered the sum of $500bn oil proceeds within 16 years has challenged President Buhari to name a corrupt politician in the PDP and in turn, they will give him a list of corrupt politicians in the All Progressives Congress. The party made this known in a statement by PDP national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, describing the president's claim as baseless, unfounded, and unsubstantiated.

According to PDP, the entire country is aware that the Presidency is on a feverish mode over their bound-to-fail 2019 re-election bid for which they have resorted to making spurious claims against the PDP even when it is clear to Nigerians that the PDP has since re-branded while preponderance of those who mismanaged the nation’s resources have now found a safe haven in the Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ideal Olive gathered from a local source that the party has challenged President Buhari to name one corrupt person in the re-positioned and re-branded PDP and it will hand him a list of an army of corrupt persons who are hiding in his APC including those who funded his 2015 presidential campaigns with stolen money in addition to his many cronies who are now frittering away billions of Naira under his watch.

While pardoning President Buhari over his unverified claims, saying that he did not source his figures, PDP asked if the president and his handlers are not aware of the humongous corruption going on under the Buhari presidency. What have they to say to the recent Transparency International (TI) report which shows that corruption has worsened under the Buhari administration? What have they to say about the official memo detailing shady oil deals to the tune of N9 trillion ($25 billion) at the NNPC which is directly under the coverage of the President as minister of Petroleum resources?

"The presidency is yet to address its complicity in the heavy sleazes in the National Health Insurance Scheme where billions of Naira have allegedly been siphoned by their agents, in spite of the Treasury Single Account (TSA); the alleged diversion of N1.1 trillion worth of crude oil and the frittering of billions of naira meant for rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons in the northeast, all to service APC interests?”Has Mr President forgotten that when he assumed office in 2015, the value of our Naira was N185 to 1USD? Nigerians are aware that the Naira went as low as N510 to 1USD and in case Mr. President is not aware, Nigerians are also ridiculing his much touted strengthening of the Naira.

On the other hand, ideal olive gathered from a local source that the All Progressives Congress has described corruption as the oxygen on which the opposition Peoples Democratic Party survives.

The blame game politics and the politics of hate and destructive criticisms have left many Nigerians confused about the way out for Nigeria, which in no doubt is caught up in an oppressive struggle; the helpless victim in the tale of two poisonous cities, PDP and APC. It is left for Nigerians to decide their fate come 2019 through their voter’s card.

BLOODBATH IN BENUE STATE BY FULANI HERDSMEN

It seems to me that people in power are waiting for the total annihilation of the lower class and even the middle class before they will decide on what to do to stop the incessant killings going on in the country.  The rate at which they theorize issues or speak grammar of regret and condemnation of killing without doing anything serious to stop it is heart breaking. Slowly, the strength of Nigeria and its manpower are butchered in their tens and hundreds, yet all we hear is news of how government regrets and condemns the killings and what they are planning to do. If our lives are not valued even in our own country, why will it be valued outside Nigeria? No wonder Nigerian illegal emigrants are slaughtered by other Africans outside Nigeria.

When will all these killings stop? When will President Buhari perform the magic that he said his predecessor is incapable of performing? We are talking about human beings here, not animals. Are they waiting for Nigerians to be wiped out completely before they swung to action? If they are actually Nigerians they should act fast, otherwise, I don’t see them as Nigerians because they are just the smart ones who receive salaries and allowances for doing nothing. As far as I am concerned, the active Nigerians are being slaughtered and it has to stop.

Meanwhile, below is the report of the Benue killings culled from This Day of January 4, 2018.

Anger spilled out onto the streets of Makurdi, the Benue State capital, Wednesday over the gruesome killing of about 50 persons by suspected armed herdsmen in Guma and Logo Local Government Areas of the state on New Year day and Tuesday.

Protesting residents, mostly youths, booed and stoned the state governor, Samuel Ortom, forcing the government to draft troops to quell the massive protest in the state capital and neighboring towns and to prevent mayhem.

The governor had gone to placate the restive youths at Wurukum where the protest was taking place in Makurdi Wednesday but he was met with angry youths who were incensed over his seeming inability to keep the marauding herders in check.

The placard carrying protesters also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign over his failure to provide adequate security for the state.

The president, however, condemned the mindless killings and wanton destruction of property in the state, and ordered the security agencies to bring the perpetrators to book.
This is just as the police in Benue said Wednesday they had arrested eight herdsmen over the deaths of 10 persons and seven livestock guard in the Guma and Logo on Monday.

There has been tension in the state since the passage of the Anti-open Grazing Bill into law last November.

The law is meant to encourage ranching and check the menace of herders and their cattle, which often destroy farmlands in Benue and has led to bloody clashes and attacks in the past, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people in the state.

However, since the enactment of the law, the cattle breeders association, known as Miyetti Allah, have vowed to resist the law and were accused of threatening to carry out attacks against citizens in the state.

But in order to quell the protest in Makurdi Wednesday, soldiers from the 72 Battalion North Bank were brought in to control the protesting youths and restore order, after word got out that two protesters had been wounded.

The protesters called on the presidency to bring the culprits to book and carried placards with inscriptions such as “presidential intervention needed”, “why value cows more than humans”, and “stop this incessant blood bath”.

Some of them chanted: “We will not vote for the present administration again at both the state and federal levels if this crises don’t stop.”

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the protesters also barricaded major roads leading in and out of Makurdi, and vowed not to leave the streets until the presidency spoke on the killings.

They also called on the government to intervene in the series of other attacks on rural communities by armed herdsmen.

A resident, Mr. Terhemen Anum, told NAN that residents of Guma and Logo were yet to determine the number of peasant farmers, women, children and the aged that were massacred during the two-day killing spree.

Also, Mrs. Ruth Agba said the killing of Benue farmers and destruction to their homes and farms was no different from Boko Haram activities in the North-east.

Despite the anger, Ortom, while briefing reporters, called for calm over the situation and asked residents not to take the law into their hands.

He disclosed that more casualties of the attacks were still been brought to Makurdi, and confirmed that the carnage had been reported to the president.

“I have reported the matter to the president and we are expecting action. Some of the people we have evidence against are the leaders of Miyetti Allah who have been threatening the state. We are calling on the president to arrest them immediately,” he said.

He said the federal government should rise to its responsibility “if not they are saying Benue is not part of Nigeria”.

Buhari Orders Arrest

Reacting to the wanton killing spree in Benue, Buhari Wednesday in Abuja commiserated with the state governor and ordered the security agencies to fish out the killers.

The president, according to a terse statement by his media aide, Malam Garba Shehu, expressed immense sadness over the attacks on the two local government areas in Benue, describing them as wicked and callous attacks on even innocent children.

Shehu said the president assured the governor and people of the state that the relevant security agencies had been directed to do everything possible to arrest the culprits of the regrettable incidents and avert further attacks.

Describing the destruction as “one attack too many”, Shehu said the president added that “everything must be done to provide security for the people in our rural communities”, adding that Buhari also commiserated with families of the victims and wished those injured speedy recovery.

Also commenting on the wave of killings in the country in recent days, a former vice-president of Nigeria and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, described as unacceptable the cycle of blood-letting that has led to the loss of precious lives across the country.

Atiku made the charge against the backdrop of recent killings in Rivers, Kaduna, Benue and other parts of the country, including Wednesday’s early morning suicide bombing at the Gamboru mosque in Borno, barely three days into the New Year.

The Waziri Adamawa, according to a statement by his media office in Abuja Wednesday, said the killings in those states, and other senseless killings and reprisal blood-letting that had preceded them in the past across the country were ungodly, “a throwback to the stone age and a hindrance to the promotion of peace and unity in the country”.

Atiku stressed that the diversity of Nigeria remains one of its strongest points, reminding leaders of all persuasion and at all levels to ensure that they promote the things that unite Nigerians rather than those that create divisions.

“That the Almighty in His Wisdom made us a nation of different tongues and tribes; made us Africa’s most populous nation with more than 300 tribes is no accident. If well enhanced, our diversity should be our biggest strength.

“There cannot be development when innocent lives are being lost in a seemingly endless cycle of attacks and reprisals. While we should hold every life as precious, it is more painful that the victims of these attacks are women and youths – the demography that we depend upon to drive development,” he said.

The former vice-president called on Nigerians to use the opportunity of the New Year to reflect on these needless killings and to resolve to live in peace and harmony.
He also prayed for the fortitude of the bereaved families.

In its reaction also, the national leadership of the PDP condemned the recent terror attacks and killings unleashed on innocent Nigerians in Benue, Kaduna and Rivers States.

While reacting to the unfortunate incident Wednesday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan said the president should take immediate steps to arrest all those behind the dastardly act.

“PDP condemns the wanton killings in some parts of our nation, particularly Benue State. We urge President Muhammadu Buhari to order the immediate arrest of the criminal herders murdering the people Guma and Logo Local Government Areas of Benue State.
“These killings are horrible, senseless and wicked. This is a time when silence is not noble,” he said.

Similarly, the Benue State chapters of the PDP and the All Progressives Congress (APC) condemned the horrific killing of innocent people in the local government areas by suspected herdsmen.

The Benue PDP, in a press statement signed by its publicity secretary, Mr. Bemgba Iortyom, said the state chapter of the party totally condemned the barbaric act, which it said qualified by every standard as an act of terrorism employed in the pursuit of an agenda that was genocidal in character.

“Our hearts go out in sympathy to the victims, the dead, those injured, and the displaced ones wandering about terrorized, dehumanized and thrust into the cruel, merciless embrace of destitution and hardship,” the state PDP said.

The party said it was unacceptable that Buhari has continued to concentrate on the deployment of security resources of the federal government solely on the Boko Haram challenge, while turning a blind eye to the bloody carnage of armed herdsmen in Benue communities and a deaf ear to the cries of their helpless victims.

Adding that Buhari must, as a matter of duty, urgently shift or share his focus from an “already defeated” Boko Haram to the rapidly growing menace of armed herdsmen killing helpless farmers and burning down their properties, it said this will be in fulfillment of the oath he took to protect one and all Nigerians from harm and injustice, without fear or favour.

The spokesman of the APC in Benue, Mr. Abba Yaro, also described the massive killing of over 50 people by the herdsmen as an invitation to civil war.

In a statement issued Wednesday, Yaro decried the recent killings as an attempt to spark a second civil war in Nigeria, insisting that it was a clear case of ethnic cleansing around the Benue valley, which must be stopped immediately.

While calling on Buhari to immediately call the herdsmen to order and direct the security agency to apprehend the killers, APC also called on all Benue sons and daughters, irrespective of party affiliations, to rise in defense of their communities.

“This is above party politics, it is about human lives. How can you kill a pregnant woman and remove the unborn child and slaughter it? It is barbaric, unspeakable and generally unpalatable,” the APC statement read in part.

APC said the Anti-open Grazing Law in Benue was not targeted at any set of persons but for the general security of the state, a measure against cattle rustling and a solution for herders/farmers perennial clashes.

It maintained that its enforcement was ongoing and the state APC was in support of the governor and will not be deterred.

“The Anti-open Grazing Law has co
me to stay,” the state chapter of the ruling party maintained.

It also warned that if the herdsmen are not called to order by the relevant authorities and refuse to stop the ethnic cleansing, Benue people shall take the law into their hands in self-defense.

Eight Herdsmen Apprehended

Meanwhile, the police in Benue said Wednesday that they had arrested eight herdsmen over the deaths of 10 persons and seven livestock guards in Guma and Logo Local Government Areas of the state on Monday.

The police public relations officer in the state, Moses Yamu, who made this known during a briefing in Makurdi, said: “Eight herdsmen, six in Guma and two in Logo, had been arrested in connection with the attacks.”

He added that the state police command had made additional deployments in the troubled areas to forestall further attacks and restore the confidence of the people.
Yamu stressed the situation in the two local government areas had been brought under control while investigations were ongoing.

He said: “They attacked Tomater village in Sengev council ward, Akor village in Nzorov council ward, and Bakin Kwata village in Umanger council ward of Guma LGA.
“Among those killed were seven members of Benue State Livestock Guards, their vehicle burnt and an uncertain number of persons injured in separate attacks between 31/12/2017 and 02/01/2018.

“Again, Agba-Uko near Azege village and Tse-Aga village of Logo LGA experienced the same fate, where one person was killed, one motorcycle burnt and four persons injured.
“All the injured from both LGAs are currently undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the state.”

According to him, five combined teams of riot and conventional policemen led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Operations, Emmanuel Adesina, had engaged the armed herdsmen in a gun duel in Guma.

CONTROVERSY OVER THE ELECTION OF SECONDUS

Naij.com has reported that interest groups in People’s Democratic Party are set to battle each other for control of the party, following the outcome of the national convention. According to Buchi Obichie, power brokers from Southwest are set to battle for the vice presidential ticket which had previously been zoned to the southeast, following the loss of the national chairmanship position.

From the ongoing, it is hoped that the vice presidential ticket will go to the South west while the southeast gets the ticket for Senate presidency. The turn of events was as a result of the election of Uche Secondus as the party’s national chairman, as it was expected that the new PDP Chairman will emerge from the South West. The PDP had previously zoned its national chairmanship and Vice President positions to the southwest and southeast respectively, while the north was given the presidential ticket, the speaker-ship of the House of Reps and the secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). It has also zoned the Senate presidency slot to the south south. The emergence of Secondus as the new PDP chairman has therefore made the Vice Presidential tickets a bone of contention for candidates from the southwest and southeast.

Meanwhile, it appears that Governor Ayo Fayose will contend with Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on the presidential ticket. The biggest challenge now is whether the southwest will agree to let go of the vice presidential slot initially given to the southeast in the interest of the party. These issues are enough to generate crisis in PDP if not properly handled.

As if that was not enough trouble, today’s Punch had reported that a group made up of about five men who are aggrieved over the outcome of PDP National conference had opened a parallel secretariat on Wednesday for the main opposition party in Abuja.
Meanwhile, Leadership Newspaper of December 14 reported that the former national publicity secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh, has said that the outcome of the party’s national convention has re-positioned it to take over power in 2019.

He urged aggrieved PDP Chairmanship aspirants to join hands with the new party leadership headed by Prince Uche Secondus in providing a credible opposition that will continuously provide alternatives and options to the policies and programmes of the ruling party. Metuh described Secondus as a tried and tested hand and proven party administrator with exceptional institutional memory to handle the affairs of the party.

In the light of the above, we must state here that if PDP must take over from the opposition party come 2019, then it must thrive to resolve the issues it is facing amicably and on time. Crisis at this time will only end up causing the party loss of power as was the case in 2015 elections. The zone that has enjoyed power more than others should be able to sacrifice and give unity a chance in the party while those who were disappointed with the outcome of the National Convention should put aside their grievances and dialogue with the party leaders. Creating party factions at this time will never do any PDP member any good.

The aspirants are Prince Uche Secondus, Chief Gbenga Daniel, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, Dr. Raymond Dokpesi, Mr. Aderemi Olusegun and Chief Olabode George, who later withdrew from the race on Friday evening.
The list shows that Abia has 90 delegates, Adamawa, 56; Akwa Ibom, 140; Anambra, 20; Bauchi, 53; Benue, 69; Borno, 63; Cross River, 86; Delta, 105 and Ebonyi, 80.
Others are Edo, 61; Ekiti, 92; Enugu, 101; Gombe, 64; Imo, 79; Jigawa, 65; Kaduna, 70; Kano, 100; Katsina, 76; Kebbi, 48; Kogi, 63; Kwara, 22; Lagos, 55; Nasarawa, 42; Niger, 63; Ogun, 61; and Ondo, 56.
The rest are Osun, 11; Oyo, 71; Plateau, 56; Rivers, 93; Sokoto, 51; Taraba, 77; Yobe, 44; Zamfara, 34; and the Federal Capital Territory, 24.
It was gathered that the number of delegates from Osun State was small because of the inconclusiveness of the congresses in the state.
Majority of the aspirants had lobbied the delegates ahead of the convention. It was gathered that some were induced with cash while other delegates were promised some other benefits by the candidates.
Chairman of the Convention Planning Committee, who is also the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, however, warned the aspirants to go by the rulebook.
It was gathered that all the aspirants were given forms to fill, with the promise that they would accept the result of the convention.

Okowa promised that his committee would conduct a credible and transparent convention, noting that adequate steps had been taken to secure the Eagle Square, venue of the convention.

He said, “We are very much aware of the security alert about Abuja. The security sub-committee is working very closely with the security agencies to ensure a smooth convention.

On his part, the Chairman, Post-Convention Planning Committee, who is also the Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Seriake Dickson, tasked all the aspirants to demonstrate sportsmanship before, during and after the contest, adding that only one of them would win the election.
He thanked Okowa for his efforts, describing him and the convention planning committee as “People we have confidence in.”
Meanwhile, after a closed-door meeting held in a hotel in Abuja on Friday, members of the South-East caucus of the PDP passed a confidence vote in Secondus, declaring him as the only one they had resolved to vote for in today’s election.
PDP national vice chairman in the zone, Chief Austin Umahi, told journalists that party leaders in the zone had decided to support Secondus in his bid to become the next national chairman.
The meeting was attended by Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi; Deputy Senate President; Ike Ekweremadu; former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara and other National Assembly members from the zone.
The communiqué read to journalists after the meeting said, “Without prejudice to the right of other aspirants to this national chairmanship position, credible and transparent election, we have decided to back and vote for Prince Uche Secondus for the position of national chairman of our great party.”
The stakeholders also said they had agreed to vote for Col. Austin Akobundu for National Organizing Secretary; Ude Okoye for Youth Leader; and Alphonsos  Gerald as Deputy Financial Secretary.

Meanwhile, former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar have said they have no preferred candidate for the convention.
Jonathan stated this in a statement on Friday by his media adviser, Mr. Ikechukwu Eze.
The statement read, “As the father of the party, ex-President Jonathan has no preferred candidate for any of the positions, and he is prepared to work with all those that will emerge as members of the new National Working Committee, to ensure that the party regains its pride of place in the affairs of the nation.” Also, Atiku said he had no preferred candidate in today’s election.

In a statement issued by his media office on Friday, Atiku said he would not support any particular candidate over others, but that he would rather support the emergence of a more virile political party post-PDP national convention.

The former Vice President said the challenge before the delegates would be to vote according to their conscience.

Party Prostitution: The Case of Former Vice President; Atiku Abubakar’s Resignations

Atiku Abubakar, Waziri Adamawa has formerly resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC). In the statement of his resignation he noted: “Be that as it may be, after due consultation with my God, my family, my supporters and the Nigerian people whom I met in all walks of life, I, Atiku Abubakar, Waziri Adamawa, hereby tender my resignation from the All Progressives Congress while I take time to ponder my future.
First of all I congratulate the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar for the bold step he took in tendering his resignation for the second time on the grounds of party infidelity towards its principles, and wish that the reasons he gave for leaving the party were indeed to shun corrupt practices and not for selfish reasons.
Decamping from a party and joining another has become a political character of Nigerian politicians that we wonder if it is for the well being of the citizens. There is need to note the consequences of changing from one party to another to find out if it is healthy or destructive to the leadership of this nation. I doubt if it is healthy and wish for a stable political atmosphere.
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State is known for defecting from one party to the other, depending on the one that is more promising.  Before the 2015 elections, many Nigerian politicians defected to APC like no man’s business because they saw that the air of victory seemed to blow around it. Most of our leaders decamp from a party when they foresee that people have lost hope in that party and will likely vote that party out in the next election. It is not necessarily because that party has failed to deliver in its promises.
It is not hard to create a problem, what is hard is to solve a created problem. Our leaders are the ones creating the problems in their various parties but instead of them to solve that problem; they prefer to decamp to a more promising party, only to find out that the same problem followed them there.
Someone whose house is on fire ought to rally round to quench the fire and not run away from his house. Is it in practice for a man to run away from his family to another family because there is a problem in his family? Is that not a show of cowardice? Is he not expected to think for a solution and solve his family problems?
This issue of running from one party to the other is not helping our dear country. It is a child’s play that must stop because it is a game of python. They make us believe that it is for good and that they mean well, while in the actual sense they are just after their political ambitions; however it is achieved, to them, it doesn’t matter.
We appeal to those concerned to please look into the constitution that guide politics and parties in Nigeria and amend the political laws of Nigeria. The healthy laws that are not been followed should be enforced. Something should be done to maintain a stable political atmosphere. Enough of party prostitution!
