Enugu Anglican Easter Rally |
One of the remarkable events that make Easter exciting is Easter Rally tagged Victory March, which takes place every Easter Monday. Enugu Anglican Diocese of the Church of Nigeria has held on to this rally for many tears now uninterrupted and this year’s Victory march is indeed as victorious as that of other years.
Ideal Olive witnessed the march which started from St. Bartholomew’s
Anglican Church, Asata, Enugu after a summary of the sacrifices Jesus made to
save mankind and His victorious resurrection. The homily includes the declaration
that Jesus did really die and resurrected on the third day as He foretold the
people then.

passed through Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium towards Uwani and ended at Christ Church,
Uwani for item 7.

At Christ Church, the
Archbishop led the congregation to reaffirmation of faith and renewal of
baptism and confirmation vows, after which he prayed and went round to have a
look and taste of the cola on the tables. Food and drinks were served
afterwards; archdeaconry by archdeaconry and people left for their
destinations.
Easter 2018 has come and gone
but the message of Easter should not be a seasonal thing, let the memories attached to it forever live in our hearts and be visible in our conducts until we
celebrate again come 2019. Jesus indeed arose and is alive forever!
