BUHARI HAS CORRUPTION ON HIS NOSE

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has again criticized President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, saying that Buhari's anti-corruption crusade has been polluted by people in his inner circle. According to The Nation, the former President in this recent attack stated that Buhari has corruption on his nose.

From what Idealolive.blogspot.com gathered from an interview Obasanjo had with German International broadcasting outlet, Deutsche Welle, Obasanjo said that the President’s anti-corruption fight has been polluted by people in his inner circles. He said that the president could do better on how he goes about the war on corruption, adding that if he was the president, he would make sure people in charge of anti-corruption institutions are people of integrity. There is no point in fighting corruption beyond you and yet, have corruption on your nose, he stated.

Recall that Obasanjo had written in late on January saying among others that President Buhari is sacrificing national interest on the altar of nepotic interest, and had advised the President to resign and not to seek re-election in 2019, as he is already being pressured to do by some Nigerians.

Also recall that while delivering his New Year message this year, Re. Fr. Ejike Mbaka had said that Unless President Buhari quickly and strategically positions the right people and changes the former ones inaugurated by him, the wind of change that he himself inaugurated will blow him away shamefully.

It is clear that our dear president has abused the privilege given to him by Nigerians and is no longer wanted. Everything is turning against him and it is obvious that the positive change he brought had little impact on Nigerians as compared with calamities that Nigerians have experienced since he assumed office in 2015.

Idealolive.blogspot.com is also appealing to the president to start planning for a better replacement as he is now in captive of the corruption he came to fight. Nigerians need to move forward.
