Politics of Religion

Violence, killing, inhuman activities, etc are gradually becoming the culture of the world, yet, Christians, who are mainly at the receiving end do not understand what is happening. We pray and stare at the heavens, lacking courage to act, while evil thrive. Evil now reign over good, because evil men and women are making their moves, the best they know how. They are the majority in the helm of affairs, of most national and international institutions, and when inhuman activities take place, they either keep quiet or use their language of confusion to distract the clueless good people; after all, they are in the majority and majority carries the vote. They stylishly play their politics of religion and increase in their number while they make others, mostly Christians to believe that religion should not be brought into politics or governance - practice of secularism.

Christians are clueless, careless, nonchalant and ignorant of so many important things. Majority of us do not seem to read and understand the times to know what to do. We always pray and wait on God to fight for us when actually He kept us here to do the fighting. The beasts in human form seem to be the ones obeying the command of God, which is for His children to occupy, dominate, subdue and replenish the earth. They increase in number to suppress and silence the good. God understands the weapon of the majority, that is why He commanded us to replenish the earth, but as it stands, the beasts in human form have keyed into it-their own way.

Many Christians refer to late Archbishop Idahosa who once battled with witches and wizards when they want to converge in Benin City for their international conference. It was told that late Archbishop Idahosa went on air and announced that the witches conference will not hold in Benin Nigeria, that was after the witches have made their announcement. When the witches threatened that God Himself cannot stop them, Archbishop Idahosa told them that God doesn’t need to come down to stop them when he is there for that purpose. Has practical Christianity gone with the likes of late Archbishop Idahosa? If he had locked himself indoors, doing only praying and fasting, what would have happened?

Christians have programmed their mentality like: ‘God will fight for us and we will hold our peace’, unable to differentiate between “God’s fight” and “our fight”. We have suddenly lost our courage and are gradually losing our voice in the national and world events, even when someone who understands rises among us to speak up and act, some of us will be among the first to attack such a person; probably to gain or maintain social status, that we eventually loose in the process. This act of cowardice has over the years robbed us of our pride and rights as Christians; the pride and right that the saints before us gave up their lives to preserve.

President Trump is one man that I admire so much, even though I don’t know him in person. Like every other public figure, I have come to know his personality from the news about him, his activities, speeches, words, political meddlings, etc. CNN and Democrats may project him as a racist and as a rude president, which from all indication, is a fact, but is that really the much they see in him?

When I watch President Trump in action, I see a courageous Christian President bold enough to defend his faith amidst all odds; the same way non Christians in positions of power do with their faith. While most leaders of other faith use their position of authority to suppress good and oppose Christianity, President Trump saw his presidential office as a position of responsibility. He does his job and defends his faith without destroying or seeking to destroy any one. His racist and rude nature is for defense – only haters of his personality might be consumed by that.

President Trump is a president and person that should be encouraged. I am happy someone thought of bringing out the qualities in President Trump that so many people pretend not to see. Here are some facts about President Trump noted by an undisclosed pastor.

Written by an African pastor:
---------------------------------------

*FACTS ABOUT DONALD TRUMP*

1. Donald Trump self-sponsored himself throughout the campaign and election... the very first politician to have done that in the history of USA politics.

2. In other words... there are no SPECIAL INTEREST...GROUPS OR CULT that co-sponsored his election

3. Almost every Presidential candidate before his foray into the Presidential position solicited for his funds which he generously gave.

4. In his adolescence, he showed aggression to ladies due to wealth and immaturity.

5. Nonetheless ...the 45th President of the USA, Donald Trump is a complete "teetotaller"; he's a disciplinarian as none of his children drinks, smokes or has a dot of tattoo on their skin, same as Trump!

6. The only telephone call he picks under a tight schedule is calls from any of his children, albeit his grandchildren.

7. He was earning $220 - $250 million dollars monthly and now as President of USA, he earns "NADA"! I repeat $1 dollar because refusing to earn his income is a violation of the constitution; so he deliberately earns a dollar and donates his remaining $399 thousand not millions but $399 thousand dollars to charity every month, which means he will be TAX-FREE throughout his term as PRESIDENT OF THE USA. No American President has ever done it!!

8. It was accurately predicted that he would win the Presidency as far back as almost a decade ago.

9. He's extremely versatile in almost every subject but also a perfectionist.

10. He believes ABSOLUTELY in the HOLY CREED! He's anti-gay, anti-bestial, name it! That was why he couldn't keep a mistress, it's divorce and remarriage!

11. He has abrogated the Lindford Johnson law preventing Christian Organizations from ever campaigning for any candidate!

12. He has also removed and uprooted from the USA Whitehouse Website anything related to gay or bestiality.

13. He picked a hardline "born again" as Vice-President.

14. Because of his hatred for early termination of pregnancies! He believes abortion is death to a living human being and thus the USA policy by Obama to have your abortions done outside the soil of USA AND PAID BY THE USA was totally abolished by TRUMP!!

15. ISIS flourished under Obama's reign, Christians were slaughtered mercilessly all over the world, but under TRUMP, within a year (actually 10 months), ISIS now decimated in IRAQ and about to be annihilated in Syria but for the Russians!

16. Obama insisted that aid or military support will only suffice "if and only if" African Countries abolished anti GAY LAWS; conclusively, OBAMA DID NOTHING FOR AFRICA, nothing, NADA!! TRUMP has already donated warships to Nigeria and weapons to eliminate all forms of threats to sovereignty of Nigeria ...under 10 months and about to assist in the repatriation of stolen funds from US Soil!

17. He's deeply at loggerheads with Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor for the policy of admitting 1 million refugees from the Middle East and as far as he's concerned, GERMANY IS ENCOURAGING TERRORISM by allowing a safe-haven for terrorists! This has made Merkel to soft-pedal! He personally went to the Middle-East to warn them that killing of Christians will not be tolerated and this as a fact has made Egypt to take threats to the Christians & native Coptics in Egypt to be protected.

18. The backlash has exposed Qatar as a terrorist state sponsor which has imposed AIR...SEA and several bans on the sovereign state.

19. The economy of the USA especially the STOCK MARKET came to its peak from the moment TRUMP was sworn in as President and constantly closes its daily trades in TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!! Never in the history of USA has that been achieved.

20. No special interest or group can do anything to him; that is why he TALKS ANYHOW TO ANYBODY OR GROUP!! He's not tied to any financial group which makes him call a SPADE THAT SPADE!!!

21. No one is doing anything or even protecting Christians in the U.K except TRUMP!!

22. No one is protecting Christians in any other country in the world except TRUMP! You tamper or touch a Christian anywhere in the world ...YOU HAVE TOUCHED TRUMP and you will soon face DECIMATION as he has a WARMONGER called GENERAL "MAD DOG" ...WAR MONK JAMES MATTIS as his Defense Chief!

23. A Christian Organization have  been going through persecution in UK for months and UK did nothing, as many MAYORS in probe areas are MUSLIMS. They sent a video to TRUMP as it's a fact THAT AMERICA NOW HAS A MAN OF GOD IN THE WHITE HOUSE CALLED TRUMP!!!

24. We (Christians in the UK) now feel SO RE-ASSURED that there's a CRUSADER OF THE HOLY CROSS AND CREED designed and organized by the HOLY ONE sent to do one thing ...PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE TENETS OF HIS CREED and HIS PEOPLE; otherwise Christians and other minority faiths would have been annihilated

25. Lies upon lies by all the NETWORKS will never allow you to know the above facts but TRUTH can never be hidden.

26. I was in USA recently and it's no secret blacklisted Muslim individuals were thoroughly searched and questioned, like any other on red alert  Border control HAS to be beefed up.

26. UK was reminded by TRUMP that ...YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN STATE AND MUST PROTECT CHRISTIANS

27. He called the government of Nigeria animals and showed the brutal killing of his people by Fulani Jihadists. Kidnapping schoolgirls seems to be normal.
He said, even animals protect their kinds, yet the Nigerian government can't protect her citizens.

CONCLUSION: TRUMP IS GOD- SENT TO PROTECT AMERICAN PEOPLE & CHRISTIANS IN AMERICA AND ALL OVER THE WORLD!!

It’s time for Christians to crawl out of their shells and hiding places, take over their positions in society, increase in their numbers and speak up to silence evil. This is not time for “it doesn’t matter, I don’t care, it’s not my business, etc. I am sure those are familiar contents in our thoughts and everyday words, as things happen around us. Those common thoughts and words from good people are the reason why we experience all sorts of evil in our society today. The few of us still retaining our good must have to open our eyes to understand what is going on; they need to matter to us, we need to care and they must be our business. Lets shun ignorance and start acting, lest, we will all be consumed by the wave of evil before we know it.

Ideal Spirit of Football – Facts from Russia 2018 World Cup

We talk about spirit of football. To us, it’s all about the huge effect it has on all lovers of football; effect that can be more powerful than overdose of alcohol; effect that can make fans go hungry when their team or club loses and also make fans eat and drink uncontrollably to celebrate team’s or club’s victory; effect that can make fans skip religious activities and even neglect their businesses, we can go on and on.

Russia World Cup 2018 has come and gone, but the memories still live. Foot ball or soccer comes with thrills, excitement and jubilation, or with loss and pain to some fans, as the matches take place. Football or soccer comes with predictions and betting that could improve fan’s standard of living or take fans to another level of poverty. Some people have died because of their crazy love for football, some even committed suicide, probably because they lost in the betting, or whatever, while some have destroyed properties or even killed someone unintentionally, and in anger because their club or team lost to the other during matches. These situations have become the nature of football, the spirit of soccer that we know of.

Nevertheless, during matches, and in the spirit of football - the excitement and jubilation of the moment, fans are completely ignorant of the golden efforts and lifestyle that lead to the award of the golden cup to the winner. When it comes to football or soccer, I am more thrilled and excited about the efforts, and particularly the lifestyle of the teams. You may have taken notes of some football lessons applicable to you, but join me to share in the lessons I learnt during the 2018 Russia World cup, which are also applicable in all football matches.

1. Each team worked together, they carried each other along and used body language to achieve their goal or goals.

2. Each team has one goal, which is to score goals. They achieve this by application of their diverse skills.

3. One person’s mistake was tolerated by all, and one person’s goal was celebrated by all. There is no blame game.

4. No team ever lost hope, even when the match is not in their favour. The match between Belgium and Japan during Russian 2018 World Cup is a good example. Belgium missed a lot of chances and was hit by 2 goals, but they never lost hope, they pressed on, and scored two goals to equalize with Japan, and later scored extra goal to win the match.

5. In the dictionary of football, there is no ‘discrimination’. France won in Russia 2018 football and surprisingly, most of their players are Africans.

6. They play by the rules; sticking to the dos and avoiding the don’ts.

7. Fans spend to celebrate the victory of their club or team, even when they have no share in what the team will get for their effort.

8. There is transparency in football. Both players and spectators see everything that take place in the field; they all know why judgments are passed, who deserve punishment and who does not. There is no hide and seek game.

9. Losers accept defeat; they don’t fight the referee or the winners, they join to celebrate the winners, they don’t find faults.

10. Fans take their children to watch live football. By so doing, they transfer passion; they pass on their values as parents, for their children to carry on with.
Future World Cup Stars

11. In the course of football match, footballers focus their attention on the ball. They don't give in to distraction, they don't look away from the ball while on duty. They stay focused.

12. The presidents of France and Croatia were there live to congratulate the finalists. They made sure they played their own role to end the the world cup; not minding the rain that has drenched them.

If our families, offices and society can be like a football field, with players like you and me going by the dos and avoiding the don’ts, and in the ideal spirit of Football, the world will be a better place.

Nigerian Soil is Red with Blood

Mass killings and destruction of property, bloodbath, cold war, jihad, terrorism, Fulani herdsmen, miyetti allah, etc; these are becoming the key words to search out Nigerian news. Nigerian soil is wet and red with blood – the blood of men and women working hard to meet their needs and that of others. Many souls have been wasted, yet those elected to protect the lives of Nigerians and property act like nothing is happening. Even if the presidency is acting unconcerned, what about the governors of these states; were they not elected to protect the people and properties in their states? Are they also negligence just to have a good relationship with the federal government and secure their positions to the detriment of the people who elected them? How can a group of people continue to play deadly game that questions the intelligence of the rest of people in a nation, and all those concerned still handle the matter like a game of ludo and chess?

The special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, while answering questions on citizens attachment to ancestral lands on a morning programme on AIT  said that it is better to be alive than to keep a land as a dead person. He also said that Nigerians are better off living with the ranches and colonies than dying through the persisting conflicts. Since when has it become a law for one to give out land to another by force? And since when has it become a practice for people to kill others because they refused to give out their lands?

Our president told the governor of Benue state in January to learn how to live with herdsmen. This only means that we should not expect any solution from the presidency.  Is it a crime if the herdsmen also learn how to live with their neighbors for the relationship to work? Femi Adesina once told us that the killings done under Buhari in three years have not equaled the number of deaths that occurred under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). We are really trapped in the government of comparison, or are we not?

A journalist with The Nation newspaper, Yusuf Idegu, had said in a report that the leader of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Plateau chapter, Danladi Ciroma described the killings in Plateau as retaliation for 300 rustled cows and loss of some herders’. He said this based on the interview granted him by Ciroma, who had denied saying such to Idegu. But we believe that even if Idegu is lying, the truth is not far from us.

According to Daily Post of May 1, 2018, Governor Otom of Benue had said: “These people had, after our ranching law was signed, addressed a press conference and said they would mobilize their kinsmen to attack Benue and true to their words they started attacking Benue. Maybe, Benue State governor is also lying.

According to Daily Post of July 1, 2018, the Chairman of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo, had declared that land all over Nigeria belong to the Fulani. According to him, those claiming to own land and would not release it to government for ranching were being selfish and do not want peace in the land. He said “if Fulani have the culture of staying in one place, do you think anybody can claim land more than Fulani”? That means if they have the same culture of land ownership, they will never let go of their lands; so why are they angry if people chose to hold on to their inheritance?

Furthermore, he said “Is it not a good idea to also settle the Fulani? This will be a solution to the herders-farmers’ conflicts Insha Allah”. He also said that Fulani’s have not gained anything from government and that if they close all the cattle markets in Nigeria, the economy will come down. What settlement are they talking about? Are they the only people contributing to Nigerian economy? Do they even pay the tax that other entrepreneurs are paying? Even if they do pay tax, there is no reason for government or citizens to be responsible for their ranches because they are just like any other person in small and medium enterprise.

Idealolive considers the words of Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo as a cheap blackmail. His words only describe their level of insensitivity. Are we all going to die because we have herdsmen living among us? Is it supposed to be anybody’s problem if most Fulani’s are insensitive, uncivilized and antagonistic? Are there not exposed persons among them that can teach them to attain at least a level of understanding?

According to First Africa News on July 5, 2018, Southern and Middle Belt leaders had stated that the role of the President of Nigeria and the duty the President owe to the herdsmen are in conflict and that there is greater allegiance to the cowry above the country. They added that Nigerians would have to proceed to the International Criminal Court with the charge that what we are facing is state-sponsored terrorism. Whatever legal approach that must be taken to stop these killings should be encouraged and pursued.

A stanza of “The Second Coming”, a poem by W. B. Yeats states:
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst,
Are full of passionate intensity.

This is the Nigerian situation. Recall that idealolive had sometime also described Nigerian situation as “Animal Farm” scenario where brainwashing and propaganda are the mechanisms used to gradually enslave the gullible masses. The time to restructure is now, as scorpions and rabbits cannot be in a relationship. It is clear that the fulanis lack all the characteristics needed for a peaceful cohabitation. They are forcing others to understand them but do not want to understand others. They want to seduce everybody to dance to their beating using cheap blackmail. They are just being who they are, and will always be who they are, but others should not go into extinction or lose their inheritance just because of them.

Fatherhood: A Heritage that must be Recovered

Father's Day at All Saint's Ang. Church, GRA, Enugu
I have read a lot of novels, magazines, articles, etc. You may call them fiction, but what I saw and still see on the pages of those books are realities of past events, which are also the illumination of what is written in the book of all books – The Bible. The pages of those books paint pictures of what family should be, what fathers represent in their families and society; their roles and responsibilities, etc. Please don’t crucify me yet; I am not being one-sided here; this is men’s corner, and so, I will talk about fathers. Consequently, what I see around me contradicts the knowledge I have acquired from my library of novels and magazines.

Is it that those virtues of fatherhood have been lost, or am I just living in the world of fantasy – the world of my own. Are those virtues in my book collection not records of the life people have lived? Should they remain a history just to be told? Are they not supposed to be habitual?

Father's Day at All Saint's Anglican Church, GRA, Enugu
Today, to be a man is to belong to dangerous cults, to frequent brothels and club houses, drink to stupor, have baby mamas, etc.  More so, there is a gradual shift from being the MAN to becoming weaker than woman; whom God referred to as the weaker vessel. Most men these days enjoy lazing around and shifting all their responsibilities to women, and when things doesn’t go their way, women in their lives become victims of domestic violence.

In the pages of my novels and magazines, when a husband and father is away for more than two days, the vacuum in the house is obvious, and the day he will return, he is received with great excitement by his wife/wives and children.

The few that still has fatherhood virtues today feel insecure because they are not sure if their friends will still consider them as friends, just because they are being the MAN they should be.

Father's Day at All Saint's Anglican Church, GRA, Enugu
Men have got much to recover, lest, fatherhood will be lost forever. Men should work hard to get back their respect. They should go back to innovative thinking, discoveries, creativity, and entrepreneurship. They should go back to godly leadership of humility and excellence. When a man speaks, there should be a difference. I am not asking them to be perfect, because it is impossible, but I am asking them to attain that height that God has given them the grace to attain as the Priests and leaders of their homes and society. Life only gives one chance of being a father. There is only one chance to get things right as a father, and men should stop gambling with it. Fatherhood is a wonderful thing. It is a lost heritage that must be recovered.

Ideal Olive says happy Father’s day to all fathers out there!

Cosmetic Surgery and Beauty Enhancement Seekers have Crossed the Line

It started with changing the body colour, to damaging the natural hair in order to fix the artificial one; and then to fixing of eyelashes and nails; but then, it’s okay, manageable and tolerated. As if that was not enough, women started cosmetic foot surgery, breast and buttocks implant, fixing of a different eye ball, etc. ……..to think that men have joined the queue, (transgender things), makes it heart wrenching.  Aaw! I feel goose pimples all over. It is a story for another day. The rate at which people are taking to cosmetics surgery and artificial beauty these days is really alarming. Humans are really daring God!

What if we were not created with hair on our heads, eye lashes, nails, etc; how would we have known what they look like, to talk of imitating them? We know that spares are good, to replace damaged built-in parts and get our electronics, automobiles, etc working. We also know that artificial body make-ups are good; they are required after loss of some body parts or personal look after accident, to keep us functioning as much as possible. But do we really need to distort our appearance when we have no reason to? It is a free world, yes! But we do have common sense, right? Can we really justify the fake eye lashes, fake eye balls, fake nails, over floated breasts and buttocks, etc., all in the name of beauty?

The reasons for these cosmetics surgeries and artificial beauty are not surprising at all, knowing how crazy and beastly people are becoming recently. Researchers have revealed that fear of growing old is one of the major reasons why people opt for cosmetics surgery. Old age is associated with wisdom and I have noticed that these days, it is hard to see young people meeting the elderly ones for advice. I am afraid that time will come when there will be few old people to direct and guide the younger generation. What we see mostly these days are cosmetic and fun filled brain, with little or nothing to offer – posterity weeps.

Whether it is Cosmetic Foot Surgery; for a suitable feet that can fit into sophisticated high heel fashion shoes, Permanent Filler Injections; injected into the skin to plump up lips and fill up spaces in the face where a bit of extra volume is needed, the concept of using liposuction to remove unwanted fat from one's own thighs and buttocks, and then inject it into the breasts to make them larger and the use of “boob jab" artificial fillers to accomplish the same goal of bigger breasts by injecting through the armpit of a temporary filler called Macrolane directly into the breast, Buttock Implants; to get a rounder, more voluminous buttocks etc, the fact remains that the damage that comes with them far outweighs the benefits, that is, if there is any benefit, but just in case there is.

Ideal Olive gathered from experts in cosmetics surgery that people, especially women spend fortunes to get these surgeries performed on them. They went ahead to reveal that aside the high prize, there is a very significant rate of problems associated with plastic surgeries ranging from distorted appearance, infections, nerve injury, prolonged swelling of affected places, chronic pain, Cancer, etc., yet some people will rather be a shadow of themselves and have fun today and be gone tomorrow – it doesn’t matter. What a waste?

The picture we can paint from this mess on nature is ‘low esteem’. Many people don’t seem to believe in themselves. They don’t seem to understand that everyone is unique and has something unique to offer; be it from their looks, potentials or character. Most often, we see things from the negative perspective and not the positive. Whatever feature and gift that God has given us has a good value attached to it for His glory, and our assignment is to discover and use them. Any man who finds fault with the wonder called ‘MAN’ that God has created, and wishes to or goes all out to change it is daring God and will never find real happiness or peace that he or she is seeking.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP: THE REMEDY TO UNEMPLOYMENT MENACE IN NIGERIA AND YOUTH RESTIVENESS

Many great men and women we hear about today started building their lives as youths. Youth age is the best age to shape and establish one’s life. Youth of nowadays are opportune because information and knowledge flies through their cell phones, which was not so, few years back. There is high unemployment today in Nigeria. It may look like there is no hope, but there is high hope if we could embrace God and become professional in our dealings.

Life starts from school, which is a place of preparation. Young people should start thinking of what they will do with their lives from SS1 age. The mindset should be on: after school, what next, or what can I start doing now? Youth age is the age when talents are incubated and put to good use. God is counting on the youths for the rebuilding of the broken walls of Nigeria. Youths are not the leaders of tomorrow, they are the leaders of today, and that leadership starts with self sustenance and establishment, which only can be attained through dedication, hard work and fear of God. Isaiah 61:4 says that God is looking for men that can rebuild the old ruins. God is planting trees of righteousness, and you can be one of them.

Unemployment is a situation where somebody has no means of livelihood, has nowhere to earn any form of wages, even when he/she is able-bodied and willing to work; the spirit and body might be willing, the skill could be there, but no job vacancy for such person to deploy his or her abilities in order to earn some income and live.  Unemployment increases the risk of poverty, it causes loss of motivation and mental problems, it causes economic, cultural and social isolation, it has a negative effect on economic growth and productivity, etc.

According to reports from the National Bureau of Statistics (2017) 7.9 million Nigerian Youths aged 15 to 34 are unemployed and this figure increases after each academic year, as fresh graduates join to face reality. Unemployment has eaten deep into the fabrics of Nigeria with its numerous menaces like: armed robbery, kidnapping, prostitution, youths been hired as thugs to kill, youths being used as sugar boys and sugar girls by their so called sugar mummies and sugar daddies, etc. This is the level of bondage that unemployment has taken youths to and only entrepreneurship or gainful employment can take them out of it.

Entrepreneurship is taking a great idea and turning it into a business to earn a living and serve others.

To become a good entrepreneur, you need to possess the following characteristics or qualities:
·
Strong Values – Possessing great principles and Creating high standards

·        Determination – The desire never to give up, but to focus on the goal.

·        Resourcefulness – Ability to create or invent wealth making ideas

·  Sense of Responsibility – Exhibiting maturity in one’s lifestyle, and self discipline

·       Self-Confidence: The assurance of one’s capabilities and self motivation

We are usually faced with so many questions and excuses when it comes to setting up our own business. What will I do? How do I start? How will I raise the money? How will I get good workers and how will I manage them? These questions and many more shall be treated below. To run a successful business, one needs to acquire the skills and become empowered intellectually.

Steps to Becoming a Successful Entrepreneur/Becoming an Employable Youth

One of our tasks today is to help you realize who you are, where you are and what you need to do to get to your next level. There is always a higher level.
·
First, you have to discover who you are; what you like to do, what you do better than others, what gives you joy and satisfaction, those services you need out there but don’t receive them at all or you receive them but not to your satisfaction.

·       Acquire skills like artistic/graphic designs, computer skills, etc.

·      After self discovery, focus on those things that give you much concern that you have taken note of and turn them into business ideas.

·        Do not procrastinate, start immediately

·    Every mistake or disappointment is an opportunity to learn something new in your business, so do not be discouraged. Failure is a learning strategy but only for those who get up after a fall.

·      Study and learn especially from:

The Word of God: It is a necessity for us to study and keep studying the WORD OF GOD and invite the Holy Spirit to give us insight. When we study God’s word, we equip ourselves for success and prosperity. See
(a)     2Tim. 2:15 – Study to show thyself approved…. the required knowledge to work for God and to run a successful business.
(b)     Josh. 1:8 – This book of law shall not depart from your mouth……good success and prosperity
 (c)    Hos. 4:6a – My people perish for lack of knowledge-be in or be out

Jesus was successful because He knew the Word of God and how to use it to resist the devil when it came to distract Him from focusing on His business.
·
Study and learn about the business of your interest
·
Study and learn from successful people
·
Study and learn from your environment and experiences
·
Be faithful to God and live righteously, God through the Holy Spirit gives the power to make wealth. It works for me, so it will work for you

·      Pay yourself, as a compensation for all your hard work, and the reason for more hard work

In a nutshell, here are the tips on Success in Entrepreneurship and becoming an employable youth
·        Love what you do
·        Surround yourself with people who share in your dream
·        Update yourself with technological trends
·        Identify and adopt customer friendly strategies
·        Insist on quality
·        Know the rules of the business and stick to it
·        Manage your time well
·        Always make provision for the unforeseen circumstances
·     See your business as your child; you sacrifice to raise your child to be above you. If you also do that for your business, when it grows, you will be fulfilled all your life. Money that comes from hard work is fulfilling.

Businesses Opportunities
There are so many business opportunities around us that youths can take advantage of with little or no capital, especially while still in school, which can guarantee their success after graduation. These opportunities are:
·
      Soya bean business
·        Fashion designing
·        Car wash services
·        Bid/Hat making
·        Photography and video services
·        Creative painting/art gallery etc.
·        Tutoring services
·        Party promotion
·        Hair styling and grooming services
·        Housekeeping services
·        Social Media Marketing
·        Livestock management
·        Etc.

Graduates can equally take up some available job opportunities while searching and waiting for their dream job. Even when one finds his or her desired job, it is still possible to work efficiently as an employee and manage a personal business. Below are some of the businesses youths can venture into as graduates, without much capital:
·
Recycling of empty mineral cans, empty plastic containers, empty bottles, crown corks etc.,
·        Cassava processing
·        Cashew nut processing
·        Palm oil business
·        Horticulture
·        Corporate business/Marketing
·        Mechanic
·        Welding and soldering
·        Painting

Conclusion
Jesus is telling us today in Luke 19:13 to occupy until He comes. Occupy means take charge, inhabit, take possession of, take care of, live in, make use of, put something to work. This is said in respect to the beginning of Jesus' parable of the ten minas. A master gives his servants ten minas before he leaves and tells them to occupy until he comes. New King James Version says ‘Do business till I come.’ That means we are here for a very serious business delegated to us by someone higher than us. As in Luke chapter 19, two out of the three servants traded their minas or money or talents, etc and raised extra income for their master, while the servant who received one mina hid it and brought it out as it is and gave his master on return. Youths, don’t waste your own mina, gift, talent, etc. because they all belong to God. Use your talent to serve God and man; by so doing, your reward is assured in Heaven and here on earth.

God bless you!
